Run Log: Cool Post-Rain Air and a Two-Part 21K

·1 min

After a heavy rainstorm yesterday night, today was much cooler than yesterday. Stepping outside at dawn felt like entering a different season — the stifling heat was gone, the air was crisp and cool, and the wet asphalt was glowing under the morning sun. A happy LSD run!

Until midway through, when a quick water break turned a single continuous run into two separate fragments. Sweaty fingers miscalculated and hit End Workout instead of Pause/Resume.

Once back home, I used the Running File Converter tool, dragging both .fit files in and checking Merge uploaded files chronologically. In just a few seconds, the two segments stitched back together into a single 21.44km workout record.

August 8 LSD — Merging 18.41km + 3.02km into a single 21.44km workout record via Running File Converter

Btw, I’m currently working on bringing this split-run merge feature directly into Apex Run, so you can fix accidental watch stops right inside the app with a single tap — working on it~ (Update: The Merge Runs feature is now live!)

Previous log: August 1 LSD — 17.91km in 30°C heat, holding 90% Zone 2 effort.
